SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Sewanee field hockey team netted four goals in the first half en route to a 5-2 win over Eastern Mennonite Sunday from Puett Field.

-Over two minutes later, it was Etheridge's turn to net a goal, and she did just that at the six-minute mark.
-Etheridge found life again in the 11th minute with her second goal of the game to put Sewanee ahead 3-0.
-In the 29th minute, Caffrey netted her second goal of the contest and fifth of the season to make it 4-0, which would hold until the intermission.
-EMU was not only held scoreless by the home team at the half, but they did not record a shot until the 41st minute. The Royals would break the shutout with goals in the 53rd and 57th minutes.
-Two minutes after Eastern Mennonite scored their second goal of the event, Etheridge found Buckley Norman's pass for the hat trick and fourth of the season for the fifth goal for Sewanee.

-On the day, the Tigers finished with 35 shots, and allowed five to the visitors, all coming in the second half.
-Freshman Milly Etheridge netted a hat trick in five attempts, and she also notched an assist.
-Ceara Caffrey recorded eight shots on goal as she dropped two goals.
-Kadie Hicks (1-1) recorded one save in 57 minutes of play.
EASTERN MENNONITE KEY STATISTICS
-Rachel Breslin and Kayla Market each tallied two shots for the visitors.
-Maret and Bri Miller provided the offense with one goal each, while Rachel Musselman posted a defensive save.
-Kelsey Troyer (1-1) saved 17 shots for the Royals in full time.
The Tigers will travel to Memphis for a neutral-site game with Wittenberg next Sunday, Sept. 9.
